Leslie Schey is a Builder Solution Specialist for 2-10 Home Buyers Warranty® (2-10 HBW®) New Home Division covering Central, South and West Texas, including: Corpus Christi, El Paso, Laredo, Rio Grande Valley, San Antonio, San Marcos and Victoria. She also handles New Mexico.Leslie finds that it is the relationships with her home builders that motivates her every day. She has found many friends and close connections in an industry driven by honest people working hard to make a living. In her opinion, the best part about working for 2-10 HBW is that she believes in the insurance-backed structural warranty she offers and that her home builders know they can rely on her.
Before joining 2-10 HBW Leslie was a self-employed land developer and managed bank-owned foreclosed properties before transitioning to work as a loan officer for a mortgage broker. She graduated from Texas A&M with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. Leslie is an area associate vice president for the Texas Association of Builders and currently serves on the Past Presidents Committee at the Corpus Christi Home Builders Association (HBA), where she is not only a past president but also the recipient of the Associate of the Year Award. She sits on the Parade of Homes Committee for the Rio Grande HBA and is also a member of the HBAs in Laredo, Corpus Christi, San Antonio, Victoria, Rio Grande Valley and New Braunfels.
Leslie’s heavy involvement in HBAs around Texas and at her church allows her to give back to the local community. When she does leave the area, her passion is for travel. Recently she visited Africa, Cambodia and Peru. She and her husband have two grown daughters.
