What is the value of Seller coverage when a home is being sold?

Seller coverage helps differentiate agents by providing budget protection for Sellers during the listing period. It also protects transactions against unexpected breakdowns—which could reduce closing delays and post-closing risks for all parties—and could add value to the Buyer’s offer via complimentary Seller coverage. How do I get a structural warranty added to a new construction home?

Structural Warranties can only be provided by a home builder to the home buyer, and are facilitated by different 2-10 HBW affiliates than the home warranty products. The home builder can provide our industry-leading 2-10 HBW Structural Warranty to the home by becoming a member in the 2-10 HBW New Home Warranty Program.

Do you cover older appliances?

Yes. If the covered system or appliance is in working order when you purchase a 2-10 HBW home warranty (i.e., doesn’t have a pre-existing problem), age doesn’t matter.
