February 10, 2020, was a special day at 2-10 Home Buyers Warranty (2-10 HBW). It marked the 40th anniversary of our founding. A lot has changed in the housing industry since then. A brief history
When 2-10 HBW started in 1980, we were the first privately owned new home warranty company in the United States. Throughout the 80s and beyond, we became successful by providing structural warranties to builders using our 1-2-10 style coverage: 1 year of coverage for workmanship, 2 years of coverage for distribution systems and 10 years of coverage on the house’s load-bearing structural elements.
