When you suggest a contractor, you could help them expand their footprint and grow their business.
What If a Contractor I Want Isn’t in Your Network?
First, suggest them to us!
But if you’re a 2-10 Member and you have a preferred contractor who’s not in our network, it is possible to use them. However, you may miss out on an opportunity to minimize your costs by using your own out-of-network contractor.
That’s because we negotiate rates for parts and services, including labor costs, with the contractors in our network. This helps you Protect More and Pay Less.
When using your own contractor, 2-10 may be able to reimburse you for a portion of the cost. However, it would be at a rate that we would have paid a Service Contractor in our network using equipment supplied by 2-10. Since it’s likely that your contractor will charge retail rates, any additional costs would be your responsibility.
